Leonard would then reinjury his ankle in the third quarter during Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals against the Golden State Warriors. The injury occurred when Leonard took a jump shot and landed on Zaza Pachulia’s foot. The play was considered dirt by fans and Coach Popovich himself....

Migos member Takeoff, 28, was fatally shot outside a bowling alley called 801 Billiards & Bowling in Houston, Texas, at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Per the Houston Police Department, officers arrived on the scene, where “[one] victim was found deceased,” while two other shooting victims at the venue were “taken in private vehicles to hospitals.” Both are expected to make full recoveries. Following an autopsy by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences in Houston, authorities announced on Wednesday that Takeoff died from gunshot wounds to the head and torso....

Christian K-12 prep school Donda Academy—which is based in Simi Valley, California and named after West’s late mother, professor Donda West—was closed effective immediately last Wednesday amid the founder’s storm of controversy. Per U.K. newspaper The Times, the $15,000-per-year school’s principal, Jason Angell, said in an email sent to the students’ parents that “at the discretion of our Founder, Donda Academy will close for the remainder of the 2022-2023 school year effective immediately....
